Looks like the new owners of the IV News might be experiencing a learning curve.

Maybe they'll shut down the on-line edition.

Maybe the webmaster can't figure out how to get the punctuation marks to display correctly.

I guess I'll just read the Valley Times instead. grin

What you talkin bout willis? Looks like they just changed the format; what a bummer. maybe they want to charge for online access.

Shortly after I posted that, they put up their new web page, willis.
It is pretty weak.

I hope they refine it. Who wants just a teaser front page sample.
We need the blotter, and comments forum.

At least they aren't dead.

This is very true. Sorry about the willis trip. I just had to say it. we do need what we had before or even more. It's not like we won't read the paper to explore further. What about all of the out of townees which are curious about the area? I guess they just do not care, period.

I contacted the paper and asked if they would consider selling subscriptions to a full on-line edition.  They said it's very expensive, and asked if I would be willing to pay $100.  I guess I'll have to rely on word-of-mouth for my local news.

Too expensive eh?

The Valley Times does their entire paper online for free.

Maybe they need to give the Times a call to see how to do it.  rolleyes

Wow

IVDailyView.com

So Michelle is back at it.

Maybe the IV News should have had her sign a non-compete agreement.
But then they probably would have had to pay her some severance.

Pretty Cool, Police log and all. Hope she starts a forum again.
